Hi there, this is me, again. I am a teacher of a kindy 3 students this year. I want to share about why teachers love weekends, maybe this can remind all of us about our purpose in teaching.
Some says that teaching is 100% planning, 100% observing, 100% giving, and 100% training. Yes, it is more than 100%, and yes it is teaching!
Even though seeing the children smile and hearing their stories are so much fun, but guiding all different needs to write, read, sit, listen, and respect at the same time is as tiring as pulling a stopped train by hand.

That is why teacher, especially me, loves weekend. I can sleep without setting the alarm or wake up early, listen to my favorite music without any distractions, eat my warm food while watching movie, wearing pajamas all day long, and tied up my hair without kids asking why.
Sadly, weekend only comes once in a week. Though, this can be our time to reflect about what is actually our purpose in teaching. Do we have big enough heart to deal with all of tiring stuffs? Do we have the willingness to shape small minds into the big ones? We do not need to answer it out loud, thinking about it will give you a chill. Remember that we teach for God's reasons.
